1D4D1: A few sessions on the effect of drumming on heart & soul; another session had attendees participating in a yoga class.
1D4D1 attendees learned valuable lessons from simple exercises. One task was to draw an animal in 7 seconds after announced by the group leader. Another was to concentrate on listening skills after watching a paper airplane instructional video.
1D4D1 (otherwise known as 'One Day for Day One') got off to a great start this morning. The 1-day event brings dozens of staff members together to learn, share, and participate in self-help sessions as they prepare for the first day of school.

HQI 4: This is the heart of HQI work -- session leader delivers the lesson to the kids while HQI attendees observe in the background. A debrief will take place later today to expand upon what they've learned.
