Hope you’re enjoying your summer break so far! We are reaching out to you today to let you know about 3 wonderful events taking place – with 2 of them occurring this weekend. Just another reason to celebrate all that is good right here in the ‘Small City with a Big Heart.’ Please keep in mind, if you are planning on driving through the downtown area at any time on Saturday, please be patient as there will likely be additional traffic due to these events. Welcome Summer!
UPCOMING EVENTS
TOMORROW – SATURDAY, June 24th: Milford’s Kickoff to Summer, Downtown & Milford Harbor area
Okay peeps – get ready to celebrate Milford’s Kickoff to Summer tomorrow (Saturday)! Festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. down on Lisman Landing, with live music provided by SAPPHIRE (til 7:00 p.m.). Then, at 7:30, our hometown favorite – the RUM RUNNERS – will take the stage and play til 11:00 p.m. In addition to live music there will be food trucks, galore, and the annual Fireworks spectacular, (starting at 9:15 p.m.). Please note: there will be NO PARKING available behind the Library, at the Harbor, at Lisman Landing, or at the Coast Guard lot. Shuttle bus services however will be available, free of charge, running from Harborside Middle School, Wasson Field, and the Milford Senior Center – to the festivities at Lisman Landing – and back (looping). It’s a great way to conveniently enjoy the event. And the best part – FREE ADMISSION! Enjoy, everyone, as we welcome back our summer season.
ALSO TOMORROW – SATURDAY, June 24th: Milford High School All-Class Reunion, Parsons Complex & Surrounding Downtown area
The highly anticipated All-Class Reunion is taking place on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Parsons Complex vicinity, with lots of fun events in store for registered attendees. SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, July 9th: The 46th Annual Sand Sculpture Contest, Walnut Beach, Registration starts at 8:15 a.m.
