Parsons Perks

Parsons Perks is celebrating a decade of empowering our transition students through hands-on work experience. These students run a coffee shop in the Parsons Government Center every day. From preparing orders to greeting customers, students build communication, customer service, and workplace skills every day. Congratulations to everyone who has helped Parsons Perks thrive for 10 incredible years!

Kindergarten Registration 2026-2027

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. Kindergarten registration will be conducted exclusively online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal found on the district’s website at https://www.milforded.org/page/registration.

Foran Theater Production

Foran students will present a production of "The Wizard of Oz" on March 6-8. Purchase tickets here!

Circle of Security

We invite parents and caregivers to join us for an enriching 8-session program where we'll spend quality time exploring our roles and the connections we build with our children. The sessions are at Meadowside Elementary School on Thursdays at 1 p.m. Register here!

Milford Prevention Council Survey

The Milford Prevention Council is collecting responses to a community survey about substance use trends, underage drinking, vaping, and mental health concerns affecting youth in the Milford community. Fill it out here.

ASAP!'s Celebration of Young Writers

Express your creativity and share your stories! All students are encouraged to submit a piece of writing to ASAP!'s annual event. Selected texts will be featured in a publication and on stage at ASAP! Celebrates Courage on May 30, 2026. Submissions open on February 2, 2026 and close on March 22. Submit your work here!

Girl Scout Troop

There is a new Kindergarten Girl Scout Troop that students can join. Meetings are at Live Oaks Elementary School. Join the Troop by visiting this link and entering Troop 38319. 

Scouting America

Troop 711 is open for girls ages 11-17. The troop meets on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m.

YMCA Camp Hi-Rock

The Woodruff Family Y is hosting a drop-in info session on February 24 from 4-6 p.m. about YMCA Camp Hi-Rock which offers programs for ages 7-17. Learn more here!

ASAP! Youth Ensemble

For students in grades 5-12, they can sign up for the ASAP! Youth Ensemble. They will master their instrument and explore new
musical techniques in a supportive, engaging
environment with Grammy-winning, Juilliard-trained teaching artists. Visit

Coastal Center at Milford Point Summer Camp

The Connecticut Audubon Society is hosting a day camp at the Coastal Center at Milford Point. Registration is open. Sessions run weekly from June 15 – August 14.
