Kindergarten Registration 2026-2027

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. Kindergarten registration will be conducted exclusively online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal found on the district’s website at https://www.milforded.org/page/registration.

Ready-to-Learn 2026-2027

Ready to Learn applications will open for the 2026-27 school year on Monday, January 26. Pre-enrollment applications will be accepted ONLINE ONLY. Once applications are open, visit this link to fill it out: https://www.milforded.org/readytolearn.

Senator Murphy's Annual Martin Luther King Jr Essay Contest

Calling all students to participate in honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King’s dream, their aspirations, and the importance of what Dr. King means to them. The contest will open on Monday, January 19, and close on February 23. Visit this site to submit an essay or for more information.

United Way

As the longest-standing local non-profit, the Milford United Way has helped thousands of Milford residents who have faced insurmountable conditions. Girl Scout Troop

There is a new Kindergarten Girl Scout Troop that students can join. Meetings are at Live Oaks Elementary School. Join the Troop by visiting this link and entering Troop 38319. 

Strength in Spirit 

On February 6, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m., the Rape Crisis Center of Milford will host its first-ever Strength in Spirit fundraising event, featuring renowned medium Janine Baryza-Ly.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Rape Crisis Center of Milford, which provides free, confidential services to survivors of sexual violence and their families. Purchase tickets here.

Milford Prevention Council Survey

The Milford Prevention Council is collecting responses to a community survey about substance use trends, underage drinking, vaping, and mental health concerns affecting youth in the Milford community. Fill it out here.

YMCA Camp Hi-Rock

The Woodruff Family Y is hosting a drop-in info session on February 24 from 4-6 p.m. about YMCA Camp Hi-Rock which offers programs for ages 7-17. Learn more here!

ASAP! Youth Ensemble

For students in grades 5-12, they can sign up for the ASAP! Youth Ensemble. They will master their instrument and explore new
musical techniques in a supportive, engaging

ASAP!'s Celebration of Young Writers

Express your creativity and share your stories! All students are encouraged to submit a piece of writing to ASAP!'s annual event. Selected texts will be featured in a publication and on stage at ASAP! Celebrates Courage on May 30, 2026. Submissions open on February 2, 2026 and close on March 22. Submit your work here!
