Michaels Achievement Cup
Jonathan Law High School has been named a recipient of the prestigious Michaels Achievement Cup Award, presented annually by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) to recognize schools that demonstrate outstanding achievement in sportsmanship. Read more here!
Fancy Nancy Book Talk
The illustrator of the Fancy Nancy Book series will be hosting a book talk and reading of the newest book in the series to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the books on October 26, 11 a.m. at the Foran High School Auditorium. Sign up for the free event here!
Flu Clinics
The Milford Health Department will host several flu clinics. Walk-ins are welcome. For the October 1 clinic, register here.
Family Flu Clinic
The Milford Health Department will host a Family Flu Clinic on November 1, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milford Public Library. The clinic is free for those aged 6 months to 18 years old. Walk-ins are welcome, but you can register here.
Essay Contest
The Milford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting essay contests, one for Grades 5-8 and one for Grades 9-12. Winners of the Chapter have a chance to move on to the State, Division and National contests. Essays are due November 21.

Community Listening Session
The Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity (CWCSEO) will host the Greater Milford Area Listening Session on October 3, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at the Milford Public Library. Register here!
This listening session is a structured discussion focused on gathering community member feedback, insights, and perspectives on the issues affecting your everyday lives and will help inform the state level policy initiatives. The CWCSEO is a non-partisan legislative branch agency that advises the Connecticut General Assembly on a variety of issues affecting the people of Connecticut.
