COVID Vax Clinic @ ESMS on Wed., 8/4: Get Your Shot AND a free $20 Target Gift Card
Let’s keep it going, Milford! Thanks to the Milford Health Dept., another convenient Vaccination Clinic is taking place for us on WEDNESDAY, Aug. 4th at EAST SHORE MIDDLE SCHOOL from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Visit the clinic – get your shot – and you’ll also receive a free $20 Target Gift Card! Here are some points to know about the clinic:
- East Shore Middle School: 240 Chapel Street - All individuals, 12 years and older, are welcome
- Walk-ins are welcome; no appointment necessary
- The Pfizer vaccine will be dispensed
Pet Food & Supplies Needed at the Milford Animal Control Center – Stop by and Donate!
Milford Animal Control runs a pet food bank to help residents who are having trouble feeding their pets. This food bank is run solely on generous donations from the public. Can you help your neighbors by donating pet food, toys, treats, old blankets and/or litter? The Center is in desperate need of both wet and dry cat and kitten food, in particular. Please bring items to Milford Animal Control, 664 East Broadway, Monday through Friday (9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Milford Animal Control is located in Silver Sands State Park, (use the park entrance located on Meadowside Road). Thanks in advance for helping our furry friends!
Milford Public Library Hosting an Online Rocket League Tourney on Tuesday, 8/3 @ 4:00 p.m. – pre-registration required
For rising grades 6-12. Some people call it crazy; some people call it fun! Rocket League is a match of soccer! Matches for this tournament will be in Solos 1v1 format ... but instead of players, the ones hitting the ball are cars! Bounce around the brightly colored maps and try to hit the ball into the goal, just like a classic match of soccer. Players run through a bracket tournament to compete. Use your PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC (a copy of the game is needed that you can download free from the Play Store). Pre-registration required. Once you are registered, a code & instructions will be emailed to you 24 hours before the tournament. Visit the Young Adult page to register using the Google form.
