We are thrilled to share that Jaimie Bickelhaupt has been appointed to the position of Athletic Director at Jonathan Law High School.
Ms. Bickelhaupt brings a wealth of experience in athletic administration and coaching to Jonathan Law. Most recently, she served as a Business Teacher, Athletic Events Site Director, and Head Varsity Volleyball and Basketball Coach at Valley Regional High School. During her coaching tenure, she guided her teams to seven championship appearances, earned multiple Shoreline Conference titles and a CIAC Class S State Championship, and was named the 2024 Coach of the Year.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bickelhaupt has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to student-athlete success, program growth, and operational excellence. Beyond varsity competition, she founded a regional youth volleyball program that significantly increased local participation and strengthened the district's feeder system. She has also been a passionate champion for inclusion, actively hosting and refereeing Unified Sports events to create meaningful athletic opportunities for students of all abilities.
Her extensive athletic administrative background includes supporting Division II athletic operations at the University of New Haven and completing an athletic administration internship with Springfield Public Schools. Managing operations across five high schools during her internship provided her with hands-on expertise in athletic compliance, scheduling, facility management, and multi-program logistics.
Ms. Bickelhaupt holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Springfield College (2015), a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Haven (2017), and a 6th Year Certificate in Advanced Studies in Business Education from the University of Bridgeport (2018). She has also completed her 092 Administrative Certification coursework through Fort Hays State University.
