Dear Milford Public Schools Community,
We are reaching out to inform you that based on current weather predictions, we are anticipating extreme cold temperatures tomorrow and Friday. Governor Lamont has activated the state’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol starting Thursday, January 15, at 5:00 p.m. through Friday, January 16, at noon, as wind chills are expected to drop temperatures as low as 0°F to 10°F.
For students who ride the bus or walk to school, please ensure they are dressed in multiple layers and wearing appropriate winter gear. Hats and insulated gloves/mittens are essential to prevent heat loss.
Our students’ safety is our number one priority. We will continue to monitor the weather forecast. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our community safe and warm.
