Holiday Recess

There is an early dismissal on Tuesday, December 23. Schools are closed from December 24 to January 2. We wish you all a wonderful, restful holiday season and look forward to seeing you in the new year!

Fall 2025 Esports State Semifinals

Milford Public School’s Esports program has reached an exciting milestone: for the first time, both Jonathan Law High School and Joseph A. Foran High School advanced through the playoffs and competed at the CIAC State Semifinals! Read more about this historic moment here!

Family Movie Night

The Milford Recreation Department will host a Holiday Family Movie on Tuesday, December 23. Join to watch Home Alone 2: Lost in New York at the Parsons Complex Auditorium at 3:30 p.m.

This event is open to all, and admission is free. RSVP here!

United Way

As the longest-standing local non-profit, the Milford United Way has helped thousands of Milford residents who have faced insurmountable conditions. MPC Youth Council Survey

The Milford Prevention Council Youth Committee is gathering data on youth exposure to poker, both in-person and online.  With parent permission, the organization asks that students take a few moments to fill out this anonymous survey.

ASAP! Youth Ensemble

For students in grades 5-12, they can sign up for the ASAP! Youth Ensemble. They will master their instrument and explore new
musical techniques in a supportive, engaging
environment with Grammy-winning, Juilliard-trained teaching artists. Visit

Affinity Esports Programming

Affinity Esports is on a mission to create safe spaces for happier and healthier gaming experiences. The Milford location has after-school classes, which combine education and gaming, and game nights! The winter season begins January 1, 2026. Visit the site to learn more!

The Northeast Flag Football League is open for registration its co-ed leagues for ages 4-16. Sign up here!

ASAP!'s Celebration of Young Writers

Express your creativity and share your stories! All students are encouraged to submit a piece of writing to ASAP!'s annual event. Selected texts will be featured in a publication and on stage at ASAP! Celebrates Courage on May 30, 2026. Submissions open on February 2, 2026 and close on March 22. Submit your work here!
