Update on Long Range Facilities Plan

At the December 8 Board Meeting, representatives from Perkins Eastman (the consultant firm the Board selected to develop a District-Wide Facilities Master Plan) provided an update on the Long Range Facilities Plan. Building Problem-Solvers

Our first graders are growing as mathematicians! This week, students practiced breaking down math word problems by identifying key information, choosing a strategy, and explaining their thinking. They worked together, shared ideas, and showed great perseverance as they tackled these problems!

Family Literacy Program

Milford Adult Education presents its Family Literacy Program, which runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at Meadowside Elementary School from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. This program is an excellent opportunity for parents and guardians to advance their educational goals while engaging in meaningful activities with their children. Toys for Toys

Genesis of Milford will host an event in partnership with Toys for Tots on Saturday, December 13, 2:00 p.m., inviting families, fans, and neighbors to donate new, unwrapped toys to support children in need throughout Connecticut. This year’s event features a special appearance by Peyton Miller, a professional soccer player for the New England Revolution. Miller will be on-site for a meet-and-greet and autograph signing.

ASAP! Youth Ensemble

For students in grades 5-12, they can sign up for the ASAP! Youth Ensemble. They will master their instrument and explore new
musical techniques in a supportive, engaging
environment with Grammy-winning, Juilliard-trained teaching artists. Visit
