Milford Public Schools proudly recognized Veterans Day with meaningful activities across the district. Some schools participated in assemblies where they honored local veterans for their service and sacrifice. During these events, veterans shared personal stories, spoke about the importance of service, and answered students’ thoughtful questions.
In addition to the assemblies, many students wrote heartfelt letters to veterans, expressing their appreciation and reflecting on what they learned.
These experiences offered students a valuable opportunity to learn directly from those who have served, deepening their understanding of citizenship, history, and gratitude.
