The school safety climate team at Orange Avenue was featured in AAA Northeast's campaign all about school traffic safety!
Superintendent Dr. Anna Cutaia was joined by many of our community partners to raise awareness about keeping students safe on their way to and from school -- Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, State Representative Kathy Kennedy, Mayor Tony Giannattasio, AAA Northeast, Milford PD, CT State Police, and Connecticut Children's Hospital.
This event highlights our the strong partnerships across the state and city that prioritize our students' safety.
9/ll Memorial
The Milford community gathered at the 9/11 Memorial to honor the lives that were lost due to the tragedy that occurred 24 years ago. We are reminded of the strength that comes from standing together and are deeply grateful for the continued support of our community, which helps us uphold this legacy of unity.
Play & Learn Groups

Fancy Nancy Book Talk
The illustrator of the Fancy Nancy Book series will be hosting a book talk and reading of the newest book in the series to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the books on October 26, 11 a.m. at the Foran High School Auditorium. Sign up for the free event here!
Essay Contest
The Milford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting essay contests, one for Grades 5-8 and one for Grades 9-12. Winners of the Chapter have a chance to move on to the State, Division and National contests. Essays are due November 21.
