Several Open House events at our schools have taken place recently – and there’s a bunch more coming next week: East Shore, Harborside, West Shore, Orange Ave, Live Oaks, JFK, Mathewson, and Foran High. Food Insecurity? Here’s a great resource/flyer.
Here in Milford we are SO fortunate to have a vibrant, engaged community ready to help anyone in need. Today, we’re pleased to share the Milford Food Assistance Resource Guide – a 2-page flyer that identifies the many organizations that are ready to help those with Food Insecurity AND a daily calendar identifying the various locations where meals are available for free or minimal cost. Save the Date!! Please Join Us for a Community Conversation on the Future of Milford Public Schools: Oct. 4th/Oct. 16
What do we want for our school system? How can we prepare students for the future workforce? What does this mean for our community? Please join us as we engage in a Community Conversation on the future of the Milford Public Schools: THINK BIG, DREAM BIG! First, we will gain some valuable insight from a Student and Business Leader panel regarding school experiences, future workforce expectations, and what that means for our entire community. Attendees will then discuss these topics in small groups and reconvene at the end for a global view of all perspectives.
Two sessions are available: Wednesday, Oct. 4th (@ Foran) or Monday, Oct. 16th (@ Law). The same presentation will be conducted at either session. Pre-registration is required. A light dinner will be served from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. with the presentation following from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Please take a look at THIS FLYER and click on the RSVP link to register.
