Dear Parents/Guardians and Staff Members,
We are continuing to monitor the air quality issue that has impacted our region for the past few days. We have been in consultation with the Milford Health Department and the air quality, while improving, is not yet at acceptable levels. As a result, all outdoor activities across the district have been stopped at this time. All windows and doors will remain closed in our buildings today. If conditions change throughout the day, we will modify this guidance and notify you.
In the meantime, we are sharing this helpful information prepared by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and partners.
According to the chart linked here, we are currently in the red zone.
