MPS Teachers/Paras/Parents of the Year Announced
MILFORD – School families throughout the district have been celebrating their ‘superstars’ for the past few weeks as they have announced their Teachers, ParaEducators, and Parents of the Year for 2023. Nominations were solicited in early April and the honorees were selected at each school in the weeks following.
Beyond the schoolwide honorees, the district selects one winner from each category. This year, the Districtwide Teacher of the Year is Kelly Jones, music teacher at Jonathan Law High School. The Districtwide ParaEducator of the Year is Ellen Connors, from West Shore Middle School. Districtwide Parent of the Year for Milford is Ashley Grant-Eckhart, representing Joseph A. Foran High School.
A celebration of all honorees will take place at the district’s End of the Year Celebration on May 22, 2023 at the Parsons Auditorium, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
