Field Day Date Change:
We’re incredibly grateful to the many volunteers who signed up to help run Field Day. With the date change, we understand that availability may have shifted for some. To help us plan accordingly, we ask that all volunteers — whether previously signed up or newly available — take a moment to complete the short form linked below.
Please let us know:
• If you’re still able to help on the new date, June 5
• If you’re no longer available
• Or if you couldn’t help before but can now
Your response will help us make any necessary adjustments and ensure the day runs smoothly for all our students.
Thank you again for your flexibility, understanding, and support.
If you have any questions please email jackiealamo0818@me.com

Drills: Conducting emergency drills (fire, crisis, lockdown, etc.) is one of the most important ways we enhance our preparedness for students and staff during an emergency. Drills allow us to practice what we need to do when an emergency arises in our school.
Calf Pen Meadow School will be conducting a fire drill next week. This will only be a drill and will be conducted in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district, and in collaboration with our local first responders. Please discuss the importance of our emergency drills with your children. If you have any feedback please reach out to jwhitaker@milforded.org. We thank you for your cooperation and partnership with making our schools a safer place for learning.
For our incoming Kindergarten families who are fully registered or currently in a MPS preschool program, be on the lookout for an email on our Kickoff to Kindergarten school visits in May. If your child is eligible for Kindergarten but you have not yet registered, please click the link to register.
"Sign up for Dash for Danni, a 5K to raise money for cancer research. The event is on June 7 and kicks off at Foran High School."
Community Connections Center: Hi families! Be sure to check out our latest CCC Newsletter—it’s full of fun and helpful info for the season! One highlight: the Milford United Way Duck Race is coming up on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fowler Memorial Bridge. The newsletter also shares great local tips—like where to pick strawberries and explore beautiful CT parks for free with your CT-registered vehicle. Take a moment to read through and join in the fun. You’ll find even more great resources on the CCC website!
Best regards,
