Dear West Shore Families,
What a fantastic week it has been at West Shore! The sunshine and warm weather set the stage for a week packed with exciting end-of-year activities. On Monday, our sixth graders challenged themselves at Adventure Park, tackling ropes courses and zip lines while building confidence and teamwork. On Tuesday, our student-athletes proudly represented West Shore at the Annual Middle School Track Meet, delivering an outstanding performance. That evening, our eighth graders celebrated together at the Dinner Dance at Tyde. The fun continued on Wednesday with a beautiful day at Holiday Hill for our eighth graders, and on Thursday, our seventh graders enjoyed a visit to the Beardsley Zoo. These experiences provided wonderful opportunities for students to connect with friends, celebrate their accomplishments, and create lasting memories as we approach the end of another successful school year.
West Shore Shines at the Annual Track Meet
Congratulations to our West Shore track team for an outstanding performance at this year's Annual Middle School Track Meet! Our Wildcats earned an impressive second-place overall finish while demonstrating incredible determination, sportsmanship, and school spirit.

A Special Thank You to Our PTA
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the West Shore PTA for their incredible work organizing and sponsoring this year's Eighth Grade Dinner Dance. Through their fundraising efforts and countless volunteer hours, the PTA made it possible for every eighth-grade student to attend this special event free of charge. The evening was beautifully organized, and our students had an amazing time celebrating together. We are so grateful for the PTA's continued dedication and support of our students and school community.
Eighth Grade Stepping Up Ceremony
We look forward to celebrating our eighth-grade students at the Stepping Up Ceremony on Friday, June 12th, at 6:15 p.m. in the Jonathan Law High School Gymnasium. No tickets are required for this special event. Eighth-grade students should arrive by 5:30 p.m. and report to the back hallway of the gym area. Please note that students must attend the full school day on Friday in order to participate in the ceremony that evening. Families and friends are invited to join us as we recognize the accomplishments of our students and celebrate this important milestone before they begin high school.
