Dear West Shore Families,
As we head into the final full week before Winter Break, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support. Our students remain focused on meaningful learning while also enjoying the many festive events that make this season special at West Shore. We are looking forward to closing out the year on a positive note together.
Holiday Concert… BRAVO!
Our Holiday Concert on December 10th at Jonathan Law Auditorium was truly spectacular. Students in chorus, band, and strings delivered outstanding performances that filled the room with holiday spirit. Their hard work and dedication were evident, and we are so proud of them. A special thank-you to our music teachers, Robin and Katie, for leading such a memorable event.
Jingle Mingle – December 23
Our annual Jingle Mingle will take place on Tuesday, December 23, during the school day. This fun, school-wide celebration allows students to participate in a variety of holiday-themed activities with their peers. Session 1 will run from 8:48–9:58 and Session 2 from 10:00–11:10. Blocks 1 and 6 will follow the regular schedule. More details will be shared with students as the date approaches.
Spirit Days Countdown to Winter Break
The West Shore Student Council has organized a fun lineup of Spirit Days to help us count down to Winter Break. We encourage students to participate and show their school spirit.
• Monday 12/15: Merry Makeover Monday (dress as a holiday character)
• Tuesday 12/16: Teamwear Tuesday (sports wear)
• Wednesday 12/17: Wacky Wednesday (hats, mismatched clothes, fun hair)
• Thursday 12/18: Twinning Thursday
• Friday 12/19: Let It Snow (wear white)
• Monday 12/22: Jolly Jammy Monday / Pajama Day
• Tuesday 12/23: Tacky & Toasty Tuesday / Ugly Sweater Day
West Shore Pet Calendar
Today is the last day to submit photos for our 2026 West Shore Middle School Pet Calendar. Please email pet photos to jplourde@milforded.org and drichardson@milforded.org and include your name and your pet’s name. Photo submissions are $5.00 and calendars will be available for $10.00. Cash or checks (made out to West Shore) may be brought to the Main Office. All photos and payments are due today, December 12. Calendars will be available for pickup on December 23.
