WS News!

Dear West Shore Families,

Happy Halloween! We hope everyone enjoys a fun and safe evening of trick-or-treating. Our students have certainly been full of excitement today, and it’s been wonderful to see so many smiles and positive energy around the building. We wish all of our families a great night celebrating together.

This week also featured our annual High School Fair, held on Tuesday the 28th. It was great to see so many families attend and explore the wide range of opportunities available to our students as they prepare for the next chapter in their education. Events like these help our students make informed choices and begin thinking about their goals for the future.

As we close out the first marking period today, we want to take a moment to recognize the effort our students have shown over the past several weeks. Quarter 2 classes will begin on Monday, November 3, offering students a fresh start and new learning experiences. Report cards will be available to view in PowerSchool on Monday, November 17.

A reminder that there will be no school for students on Tuesday, November 4, due to Election Day. While students enjoy the day off, our teachers will be engaged in a full day of professional learning focused on strengthening instruction and supporting student success.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our school community. We are proud of the hard work and enthusiasm our students bring each day and appreciate the partnership we share with our families.

Wishing you a happy Halloween and a relaxing weekend ahead!

Warm regards,

Carrie Keramis

Principal, West Shore Middle School
