Dear West Shore Families,

As we close out another incredible school year at West Shore, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued partnership and support. To our graduating 8th grader, congratulations! Your growth, resilience, and accomplishments have been truly inspiring. Friday’s Stepping Up Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of all that you’ve achieved, and we are so proud of each and every one of you.

Report cards will be accessible on PowerSchool starting tomorrow. Graduation certificates and honor roll acknowledgments will be mailed home in the coming days.

Reflecting on this year, it’s amazing to consider all we’ve accomplished together. From the energy of Spirit Week and the staff vs. student basketball game to meaningful advisory lessons focused on empathy and kindness, our students have not only learned but thrived. We explored the world beyond our classrooms through field trips, came together for special events like the 8th-grade dinner dance, and witnessed tremendous academic and social-emotional growth in our students at every grade level.

As we look ahead to the fall, we are already planning new ways to support student learning, build community, and make the middle school experience even more engaging and memorable. We’re excited to welcome our new sixth graders and to continue strengthening our school’s culture of belonging, curiosity, and achievement.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our West Shore community. Wishing you and your families a safe, restful, and joyful summer.

Warmly,

Carrie Keramis

Principal, West Shore Middle School
