Hello Bulldog Families,
We hope you have had a PAWsitive week. It’s been a busy week here at Mathewson and we have some busy ones ahead. Please take a look at the information below to find out all that is going on:
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Neely as our World Language long term sub while Ms. Lapham is out. Mr. Neely has joined us all week and is already fitting in with our Bulldog spirit!
Attention 5th Grade Families. We need your help with YEARBOOK. Info is HERE!
January 25th our 4th grade band and strings students will have their Informance! This is a small musical presentation where our children can showcase what they have learned so far this year. This will begin at 6:30 pm.
January 26th and 27th are Kindergarten Moving Days! We are excited to be getting all brand new furniture and classroom equipment for our Kindergarten rooms which will better set our learning environments for our youngest learners and collaborative work. We can’t wait to share the pictures with you in the following weeks to come. Get excited!!
January 27th our PTA is sponsoring BINGO NIGHT! Be sure to check out the information here. This is a family event from 5:30-7:30 pm. Attendance: All absences must be reported using the PowerSchool attendance form. If your child is going to be late or picked up early, please send a note in to the teacher, or email the teacher, our greeter mkothari@milforded.org and our secretary mgonski@milforded.org . Only absences should be reported through PowerSchool.

Running out of ideas to make for dinner? Then think no further! For the Month of January Nate’s Plates has coordinated with our PTA to help provide some dinner choices and funds for our 5th grade committee for those that wish to participate. Be sure to mention “Mathewson” at check out and enjoy a night of not having to plan for what to make!
Dave and Busters Grade 5 Fundraiser--Jan 12-Feb. 10th! Have some fun and raise some funds for our 5th Graders! Check out the details here. Purchasing goes live on January 12th at 12 pm on the Mathewson Member Hub Store.
MPS Community Connections News: This week's Community Connection Center's Newsletter (CCC News) has links for Platt Technical High School's On Campus services and Ct. Mobile Food Pantry. Each week information about Milford's providers & their programs are listed . You will also find ideas for family friendly activities & places to visit.
