District “Great News”  from Food Services:

Free school breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students from March 1, 2023, through the remainder of school year (SY) 2022-23.

We are pleased to announce our return to school meals free of charge for all students beginning March 1, 2023 continuing through June 30, 2023.  All students are provided with one school breakfast and one school lunch every school day free of charge.  Students may purchase “A La Carte” foods separately from school meals such as chips, cookies, water and second meals (variety varies by grade level.)

As you may know, there are a variety of ways for families to arrange payment for a la carte purchases and previously purchased meals:

-Titan/My School Lunch: an online payment portal where families can deposit funds for their child’s/ren’s

-Checks: Families may choose to submit a check (along with a deposit slip) that will be forwarded to the school cafeteria.  Please make checks payable to: Milford School Foodservice.

-Cash is not recommended and will only be accepted as a prepayment on account. As we are unable to give change.

Free or Reduced- Price Meal Applications:

Even as our district continues to provide free meals to all students, we still ask families to submit school meal applications because meal applications may be used for providing discounted school fees.  In addition,  our schools receive important funding and resources based on the number of approved free and reduced applications.

If you have not done so and would like to apply, please complete a Free/Reduced Price Application. Only one application is needed per family; if you have more than one child attending a school in our district, you only need to submit one application for all children.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the food service office at 203-783-3490.

Please help support the Beth El Center with our Toasty Socks Drive!
