Hello Bulldog Families,
We hope you had a pawsome week back from winter break. Included in the PAWprint this week are some district wide pieces of information such as Kindergarten Registration and Conference Information. We hope to see you at our PTA sponsored Skate Night tonight! Don’t forget to bring in your pennies (or other change) for our Penny Wars which is going on. Help raise money for a good cause. District Conference Sign up Information
We are pleased to announce our Spring 2023 Elementary Conference Schedule:
Wednesday, March 29th 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 30th1:45-3:45 p.m.
Friday, March 31st 1:45-3:45 p.m.
*Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule. Therefore, students will be dismissed on March 29th, March 30th, and March 31st at 1:15pm.
Parents/guardians will once again have the opportunity to select a conference time through My Conference Time. All conferences will be in person unless a parent/guardian requests a Google Meet link directly from the teacher. Spring conference sign up information will be live on our school website from February 27 at 9:00 a.m. through March 27 at 12:00 p.m. If you prefer a virtual session, please contact the teacher to request a Google Meet link to conduct your conference virtually after you have confirmed your conference time through My Conference Time Online Scheduler. We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s learning!
Quick tip: Look for emails from “noreply@myconferencetime.com” when searching email for conference confirmation communications.
This week's Community Connection Center's Newsletter (CCC News) has links for the United Way-"Get Help" page and Milford's Recreation Department's "Minds in Motion" programs. Each week information about Milford's providers & their programs are listed. And don't forget that the CCC website is also updated with links to community resources. Have a great week!
District Wide Kindergarten Registration is Now Available!
Greetings, MPS Families!
We are pleased to announce that Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will take place during February and March. If you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, registration information will be posted to the district website www.milforded.org on February 21, 2023. You must register your child for Kindergarten at the school determined by your street address, unless placed by Pupil Personnel Services. School/Street Assignments are available on the district website under “District Information.”
Students must be at least age five (5) on or before December 31, 2023, in order to register for Kindergarten.
Current MPS preschool or Ready To Learn students do not need to complete an online registration packet.
If you need assistance with the registration portal, please contact the main office for your district assigned school. School contact information can be found on the district website under “ Schools.”
We are excited for your children to come to our schools! Fully registered families, please be on the lookout for more information from your school’s Principal about an in person kindergarten event in the spring. In the meantime, click here for a sneak peek of what to expect in Kindergarten!

Attendance: All absences must be reported using the PowerSchool attendance form. If your child is going to be late or picked up early, please send a note in to the teacher, or email the teacher, our greeter mkothari@milforded.org and our secretary mgonski@milforded.org . Only absences should be reported through PowerSchool.
Read Across Mathewson Day is Coming! Every year, the month of March is National Reading Month. The start of this is initiated with ‘Read Across America Day’ on March 2. Many schools choose to engage in activities throughout the week which promote books as windows offering views of the world or mirrors where we allow children to see themselves within their text. Throughout the school year, Milford Public Schools work to help students develop a love of reading and an appreciation for where the pages of a book can take you. We look forward to having guest readers help us celebrate on March 2nd at Mathewson!
