Maui Monday was a success! Don’t forget your fan/team wear today Harborside! I wonder if Mr. Gottlieb will be wearing a Steelers shirt or Star Wars! He’s a big fan of both!

Spirit Week is NEXT WEEK!

HMS is collecting coloring books, crayons, and colored pencils for displaced children of Ukraine. A Ukrainian church in New Haven identified the need and is coordinating the delivery to refugees. Boxes will be at each grade level entrance for AM arrival until March 18th.

Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you to our Be Kind Club for making our school bus drivers feel appreciated!

Happy Heart Day! The American Heart Association has deemed February as Heart Awareness Month. Today HMS wore pink and red in order to spread awareness. We thought our participation would be fitting on Valentine’s Day!

Happy School Psychologist Week! It didn’t take long for Ms. Viento to fit right into HMS this year and for the HMS community to realize how lucky we are to have her! We hope you felt appreciated this week, Ms. Viento!

A Wingman planning session in action!

Thank you Mrs. Flaherty for sharing an inspirational quote for Veteran’s Day today: “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”~John Fitzgerald Kennedy
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VETERANS!!!

Today was our last day of Spirit Week and students and staff celebrated HMS, Halloween, and a Birthday today! We appreciate all of the participation from staff and students and we hope our HMS community has a wonderful weekend!
