As we head into the holiday season, we want to take a moment to wish you and your families a joyful, restful, and meaningful break. This time of year offers us all an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the people and traditions that matter most. We are grateful for the partnership, support, and care you show our school community each day. Together, we continue to create a place where students feel supported, challenged, and valued, and that work does not happen without you. On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for your continued trust and collaboration. We wish you peace, good health, and happiness throughout the holiday season, and we look forward to welcoming students back refreshed in the new year. |

E-Bike and E-Scooter Follow Up |
As you may be aware, The Milford Police Department recently issued an e-bike safety announcement to the community, providing information on laws, requirements, and safety tips. As a follow up to the MFD’s announcement, Milford Public Schools emailed all guardians yesterday regarding e-bike/e-scooters as the district wants to ensure that everyone stays safe on their way to and from school. Highlights from the email are as followed: Effective earlier this fall, a state law was passed that requires all e-bike riders to wear a helmet in Connecticut, regardless of age. Please note that students are allowed to ride an e-bike to school. Students must park their e-bikes in the designated bike racks on school property. In order to ensure a safe environment for all, students are prohibited from riding their e-bikes on school playgrounds, sports fields, grassy areas, or any other non-designated riding areas.
Please discuss these safety guidelines with your child to ensure they understand the legal requirements and expectations for the responsible operation of these e-bikes. Student safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your partnership in making our roads and school campuses safe for everyone
