Avery’s Little Garden Brick Campaign -
Avery, a former Calf Pen and HMS student, fought brain cancer with bravery and strength for over two and a half years. Through this fight she never complained and continued to find ways to make those around her smile and participate in life. She taught teachers and students alike, how to be resilient and keep going no matter the challenge.
To continue to honor Avery’s legacy, Calf Pen Meadow School is looking to build a memorial garden and outdoor classroom.
Families wishing to support Calf Pen’s garden/outdoor classroom can purchase a Garden Brick. Please click Avery’s Little Garden Brick Campaign for more information.
Law Raffles for Wishes Opportunity -
Law’s Raffles for Wishes is a Connecticut nonprofit that sells raffle tickets to local families, and the winning child gets to join a varsity sport for a special game.
All of the money raised goes to the Connecticut Make-A-Wish Foundation.
By purchasing a raffle ticket, a student could be a part of a baseball or softball team for a day.
Raffle winners would get to warm up with the team, wear Law softball/baseball gear for a day, sit in the dugout during the game, and get to know a little bit more about high school sports and the atmosphere at Jonathan Law.
Raffle tickets are each $5, and all of the money raised is going to the Connecticut Make-A-Wish Foundation.
