Good Evening ESMS families,
We hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. As the holiday approaches, we wish all of our ESMS families a warm and joyful Thanksgiving!
Just a reminder that next week is a three-day week, with Wednesday being an early release day.
We hope the long weekend ahead brings rest, laughter, and plenty of moments to be grateful for. Please take a moment to review the important updates and information below.
Spirit Week: Nothing crazy, just some easy themed days to bring the kids (and us) a smile.
Monday will be “Rhyme With No Reason Day,” get together with a friend, or a group, and showcase rhymes that have nothing to do with each other (Cake & Snake for example).
Tuesday is “Wear Yellow in Memory of Avery,” to raise awareness for pediatric cancer.
Wednesday will be “Flannel Day”-wear cozy flannel shirts or pants!
Caregiver Weekly Survey: We’ve heard from a few families that the Caregiver Weekly might be easier to read on a different day. We would appreciate your input to help us figure out what works best for our community.
Thanks for Giving Food Drive Update: Congratulations to Mrs. Crucian’s homeroom, which came in first place with 362 items! They were followed closely by Mrs. Carrano’s homeroom with an impressive 341 items. Thanks to your generosity, our school collected a total of 2,105 items to support families in our community. We are so grateful for your kindness and participation!

PTA News:
Milford Turkey Trot: Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the Milford Turkey Trot fun run which benefits Milford charities, including our PTA! There are 1, 2, and 3 mile options so there is something for everyone. Register here and don’t forget to check off our school in the Milford Public Schools Challenge when you register. The school with the most entries wins a prize. www.milfordturkeytrot.com
The Milford Turkey Trot has been East Shore’s biggest fundraiser. With the incredible donations the past two years, our school has been able to fund no-cost events like our assemblies and skate nights. The money we receive is dependent on how many volunteer hours our school community puts in. If you have a few hours to give handing out race packets or working the race (starting this weekend), PLEASE sign up! If you can’t work a whole shift, sign up and let us know what hours you can be there. Sign Up Here!
There is still time to join the PTA!
