We're looking forward to a great week ahead! Please take a moment to review upcoming events and information.
TAKE A VETERAN TO SCHOOL DAY: In honor of Veterans Day, East Shore Middle School students and staff are proud to invite our family and friends who are veterans to join us for a special event. Our honored guests will attend a ceremony and then meet with small groups of students to share their experiences of patriotic and military service. This is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn directly from those who have served. If you know someone who is interested they can complete this form.
News from Mrs. Rubino and Mr. Singer, School Counselors: Our high school school fair will be held on Monday, October 27th from 8:10 to 9:00 a.m. in the ESMS gymnasium, with students attending in three waves. Families are welcome to attend. No RSVP is required. Please feel free to contact us with any questions at krubino@milforded.org or rsinger@milforded.org.
Message from Mr. Denke: Students from the 8th grade band participated in a joint performance with the high school marching band last Friday, September 26th. The students rehearsed, had dinner and marched down to the football field with the marching band students. They then performed the Star-Spangled Banner and the Foran Fight Song on the field, followed by pep tunes in the stands. The Foran High School Band Director, Mrs. Turner, was a terrific host and we thank her for having us!
