September 7 Family Weekly

Our students are settling in so well and bringing great energy to the start of the year. I hope to see you at our first PTA meeting tomorrow night from 6:30–7:00pm in the Media Center. Important information is below, along with key dates to mark in your calendar. Thank you for your continued support, and we wish you and your family a wonderful week ahead.

OPEN HOUSE: Please join us for our Open House on Thursday September 18  at 6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful evening and your partnership is critical to your child's success. More information will follow from your child’s homeroom teacher as this date approaches.

TAKE A VETERAN TO SCHOOL DAY: In honor of Veterans Day, East Shore Middle School students and staff are proud to invite our family and friends who are veterans to join us for a special event. Our honored guests will attend a ceremony and then meet with small groups of students to share their experiences of patriotic and military service. This is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn directly from those who have served. If you know someone who is interested they can complete this form.

PICTURE DAY: Mark your calendars picture day is Wednesday, September 24. Flyers with ordering information will be sent home with your child.

PTA: Do you love going out to eat and trying new restaurants? Maybe you can be our coordinator of restaurant fundraisers!  Fall is your favorite season? Consider co-chairing our fall fest at Treats Farm corn maze! Come Monday and see what it is all about. Follow us on Facebook at East Shore PTA and on Instagram at ESMSpta for updates!

Parents of eighth grade students, this is your chance to help make this milestone extra special for your kids. Please come and join the eighth grade committee during the first PTA meeting. These items are to be turned off or silenced and left in the student’s locker during the school day.

BRIDGES AT ESMS: We wanted to remind you of our collaboration with Bridges Healthcare, Inc to enhance the mental health support available to our students.
