As the alternative education program for the Milford Public Schools, it is our mission to foster independence and guide students to become empowered, compassionate citizens through an individualized and holistic approach in a community of high expectations.
In doing so, we set high expectations through the use of Project Based Learning, Restorative Practices and a variety of other proven strategies for success. The small student-to-teacher ratio allows for a strong understanding of each and every student that steps foot in our doors. We promote positive thinking and choices through an empathetic approach in our daily work. Our goal is for students to leave with their high school diploma, the skills needed to be successful in their adult lives and to be College and Career ready. We prepare and assist students as they transition to life after high school. In 2018, our graduates were accepted to a variety of post-secondary programs, including Housatonic Community College, Gateway Community College, Southern Connecticut State University, Southern Maine Community College, Porter & Chester Institute, and Lincoln Tech.
