GOOD CHOICES BOARD
Based on the colors of the stoplight, students will be expected to stay on "green" by making good behavior choices during the day. Students move their color to either yellow or red if behaviors decline during the day, or stay on green if students are following rules.
Each child will be recording his/her behavior color on a chart that will come home from school daily. Parents need to intial the chart in the corresponding date box and send it back to school. If a child is moved to yellow or red, a brief explanation of the behavior will be written on the chart so parents are aware of school behavior.
Students seem to respond to this, especially if they continue to stay on green--it is a great motivator. And both parents and I can easily if there are any patterns to misbehaviors.
If you have any questions about it, please let me know. Mrs. Teodosio
