Calf Pen Meadow students are expected to be respectful, be responsible, and be safe.  We have a school wide behavior plan that encourages students to follow these expectations at all times. All students begin the day on green.  If someone chooses to break one of our established rules, I give them a quiet, reminder and an option to stop that behavior.  If your child continues that behavior,  s/he will switch from green to yellow.  Yellow is a reminder that means "warning". If your child further continues, s/he will then move on to red.  Once on red, parents will be notified with a letter home that needs to get signed and returned the very next day. Any poor choice can be improved. Yellow can turn back to green.  However, Red remains for the day. The next day they start on green again.

My hope is that this class will grow into a respectful group that supports each other and encourages one another to always do their best!  I hope that I never have to send home a red letter!  If I do, it is not the end of the world. Just a reminder that the school expectations have been temporarily broken. Please be sure to talk with your child about the importance of making good choices.  Thank you.
