Career Day 2022!

Hello, Milford Families!
As the year is coming to the end, we are working hard to implement the final SEL Lessons (social emotional learning lessons.) Each lesson falls into a category of social, emotional, academic or career. The final lesson for K-5 is all about careers!
We would like to invite MPS Elementary parents and guardians to participate in our first annual Virtual Career Day! We are planning to create a video compilation to share with our students to complement the career based learning we will be doing in the classroom.
We are asking participants to record a two-minute video (give or take) answering the following questions:
Job Title/description
Day in the life
Something they love about their job
Skills needed for their job
Helpful tips for recording:
Film in your work environment
Use “props” and/or wear your uniform
Make it fun!
We will be collecting videos throughout the month of April with hopes that all videos will be submitted by May 1st. Please reach out to your elementary school counselor with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing all the amazing career opportunities for our students.
Please send all videos via email with the subject as “Career Day Video” to your elementary school counselor (cnunes@milforded.org).
