Another week down – and another week ahead – with LOTS of great events and programs for ALL of us!

‘Oktoberfest’ Begins Tonight – Downtown – Friday night (9/21) and all day Saturday (9/22): The downtown area will ‘be the place to be’ tonight and tomorrow, as the Devon Rotary conducts the 30th Annual Oktoberfest!  The Rotary does a terrific job and is a great supporter of our community – so take an hour out of your day, have an ice cold beverage and some brats, enjoy a variety of entertainment, and Milford’s beautiful scenery.  Place: Fowler Pavilion; Friday night’s hours are 5:00 – 10:00 p.m., Saturday will be from Noon – 9:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!

 

A Few Open Houses Left – Will Take Place on Tuesday (9/25)

The last batch of Open Houses will take place on Tuesday, 9/25 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Enjoy meeting all of your child’s teachers, visit with parents, and learn what’s on tap for this year.

Saturday, Sept. 22nd, Hazmat Day, Milford Public Works Yard, 83 Ford Street, 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Got junk around the house that can’t go in the regular trash pickup?  Things like paint, paint thinner, pesticides, swimming pool chemicals?  Here’s your chance to get rid of them safely!  The HAZMAT collection day (Saturday, Sept. 22nd) is just what you need.  Click HERE for the flyer.

 

Monday, Sept. 24th, BOE Meeting, Parsons, 7:00 p.m. The Board of Education will conduct its September Committee of the Whole meeting.  The topic to be presented is Student Data Assessment, 2017-18.  Interesting stuff!  All are welcome.  Agenda.

 

Sunday, Sept. 23rd, Pancake Breakfast to benefit JLHS Music Dept., @ Eli’s Tavern, $8.00, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Here’s a way to help out the Jonathan Law Music Dept. and have a wonderful breakfast at the same time.  Pancakes galore – click HERE for the flyer. Enjoy!
