Does Your Child Need Volunteer Service Hours? The Milford Oyster Festival Committee Needs Your Help! The best weekend of the year here in Milford: the Annual Oyster Fest! Of course, a festival of this magnitude doesn’t happen without hundreds of volunteers. If your child has been looking for ways to acquire volunteer hours – THIS is a great way to do it. Hours are available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (Aug. 16, 17 and 18). Click HERE for information on how to sign up. And THANKS for helping our city continue to shine!
Milford Public Library Calendar for July now ‘LIVE’

Speaking of calendars -- here’s something that’s ‘fridge-worthy.’ Due to some minor adjustments that were needed, a revised version of the 2019-20 Academic Calendar has been released. As a result, we wanted to send it to you as soon as possible. For the new version click HERE – and then you can print or save it anywhere you like. Of course, the calendar is always available on our website – so you never have to worry about losing it. Thanks!

Who Doesn’t Love a Scavenger Hunt (Sunday, July 21st!). Enter the MAC Photo Scavenger Hunt for Fun and Prizes! $20 Registration Fee per person.
The Milford Arts Council has come up with a FUN event that is sure to bring laughter to all involved. The MAC Photo Scavenger Hunt will take place on Sunday, July 21st, from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. Participants will create a team, decorate their cars and ‘bounce around Milford’ scooping up treasure and snapping creative pictures along the way. Prizes/After-party/Dinner: $20 per person. To register, click HERE.
United Way is Collecting School Supplies (all month long in July)
Never a dull moment at the United Way of Milford. Their next big project involves the collection of school supplies that will be distributed to students in need at the start of the school year. There are two convenient collection drop-off locations – one right at the United Way – and the other at the City Clerk’s office in the Parsons Government Center.
