Happy Friday Milford Public Schools Family,

Well, based on what Punxsutawney Phil and Chuckles (the CT version) said last Saturday, Spring will be here early this year.  Yay!  Let’s enjoy the thought of daffodils and all the spring flowers and get some peaceful rest this weekend.

Lots coming up next week (especially Monday!), so be super-attentive to the items below this week. As always, check out the full Electronic Bulletin Board containing the flyers for ALL of the events planned for the weeks and months ahead.

And now, on to the News.

Kindergarten Online Registration to Open on Monday:  It’s almost here! The online Kindergarten registration process will open on Monday, February 11th. All of the instructions on how to complete this process will be there (just click on the STUDENT REGISTRATION box on the district’s website homepage on Monday), along with an online appointment calendar for parents and their Kindergarten-bound children to visit the school and bring original documents for authentication.

And, in case you’d like to get some great information on Kindergarten, in general, (along with some other great advice) please take a look at our Welcome to Kindergarten booklet.  Highly informative.

Welcome to the Milford Public Schools, little ones!

2019-20 High School Program of Studies Now Available:   Our high schoolers will be selecting their courses soon – and we encourage you to have a conversation with your child as he/she prepares for this process.  The all-new 2019-20 Program of Studies includes a list of ALL of the course offerings for next year, as well as a wealth of additional information about Graduation Requirements, Grade Point Averages, programs available, and much, much more.  The catalog appears in several places on the website – but to make it ‘super’ convenient – here you go! A ‘Super’ Super News:   We hope you got a good chuckle from opening trailer of last week’s release of the Milford Super News.  How fun! [Not to worry – no spoiler here – you’ll just have to watch it for yourselves!].  In all honesty, we hope you found Dr. Cutaia’s segment on Reduce/Reuse/Recycle to be interesting and informative.  We sure did.  In case you missed it, here’s the LINK.  Enjoy!
