IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL,
BUS TRANSPORTATION AND FOOD SERVICES
POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL OPENING:
The Parent Portal will be opening the parent accounts over a 2-day period, as follows:
Middle and High School: Thursday, August 15th
Elementary School: Friday, August 16th
Families without PowerSchool parent portal accounts should have received an email from PowerSchoolhelp@milforded.org with instructions on how to create an account.
The first time you access your Parent Portal Account it is important to use your computer or phone browser and not the PowerSchool Mobile App with the following link https://gradebook.milforded.org/public/
You will first be asked to review and update three documents. The three documents you need to update first are:
Emergency Contact/School Messenger Update Sheet
Acceptable Use Policy/Chromebook sign-off and insurance
Sign off Sheet including Food Services/Free and Reduced Cost Lunch Notification
Once you update those files, you can access:
Your child’s 2019-20 teacher/s
Your child’s classroom
Your child’s bus # (if eligible for bus transportation) - Please note: We have changed the bus numbers this year – please make sure you check PowerSchool before reviewing the routes and ensure your child has the correct information.
If you have trouble getting into PowerSchool or have questions, please contact our Information Systems team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (203) 783-3446.
