We are proud to announce the Milford Public Schools was honored to receive an Excellence in Risk Management Award on Jan. 25th from CIRMA (Connecticut Interlocal Risk Management Agency). The district won top honors in the category of 'Substantial Impact on Total Cost of Risk' and received a $2,500 grant for 2019, to be used in the area of Risk Management.
Over the past 6 years, the Milford Public School district has reduced the total costs associated with work-related injuries by $2.1 million.
CIRMA is Connecticut's market leader for municipal insurance and risk management services. Its membership includes more than 85% of the state's municipalities.
