District Operations

The Operations Team is a combination of several departments that work together to keep the district ‘ticking!’  This team handles the business portion of our day-to-day operation.  The departments found on this team include:

            - Finance and Budgeting (including Payroll and Accounts Payable)
            - Facilities and Maintenance 
            - Food Services
            - Transportation

Mr. James Richetelli, Jr. is the Chief Operations Officer for the district.  Prior to joining the Milford Public Schools team, Mr. Richetelli served as the Mayor of Milford for 10 years.  In addition to overseeing the departments listed above, Mr. Richetelli is also responsible for the following operational functions in our district:

            - School safety and security           - Insurance and risk management
            - Telecommunications                     - Contracts
            - Capital improvement plan
