Revitalizing the Research Model to Engage Students

4 Day Institute

This staff development aims to immerse the teacher in thinking about restructuring and revitalizing the elementary research project with an emphasis upon student "questioning" and the "research cycle" using research by Jamie McKenzie Ed.D. Working as a team media specialists and classroom teachers will be building a scaffold for student research.units in grades 3, 4, and 5 using The Big 6 strategies.
