5 Day Intensive Institutes

                                This staff development aims to immerse the teacher in thinking about restructuring the classroom to utilize technology in learning with an emphasis upon student "questioning" and the "research cycle" using research by Jamie McKenzie Ed.D. Working as a team media specialists, classroom teachers and technology support teachers will develop worthwhile learning experiences that take advantage of technology to improve student learning in the major curriculum areas at the high school level.
 
 
 
Training topics will include:
  • Information Literacy
  • Essential Questions and Research
  • Looking Critically at Electronic Resources
  • Effective instruction with technology

  • Engaged learning environments
