WebQuests Created By Milford Teachers

Each year since June 1999 the Milford Public School System has had week long workshops for teachers to create WebQuests connected to their curriculum. Using the theory and templates provided by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University teachers have developed essential questions that promote higher order thinking skills. Internet sites have been evaluated for authenticity, relevence, currency and content by the teachers. Sites that were found most valuable were included in the WebQuests. Below are the WebQuests created by Milford teachers. You are welcome to use any of the WebQuests that support your teaching. As a courtesy we ask you to email the teacher giving feedback, suggestions or a thank you for their hard work. If you would like to participate in a WebQuest workshop in June 2002 please email Debbie Hourigan at dhourigan@milforded.org.
