Introduction

Surf's up! Grab your brain and head for the further reaches of cyberspace. This Treasure Hunt introduces you to the 5 systems of the Human Body that you will be studying. I also added a site about the nervous system. Below is a list of questions about the Human Body that will get you started. You must decide which site is the best choice for the question. They are NOT in order.Surf the Internet links on this page to find answers to the questions. Don't forget to bookmark each site. Think about the Big Question. Have fun!

  1. Go to Heart Pumping. Describe how the blood goes through the heart.
     
  2. Look down the table of contents and find 'Search the Neuroscience for Kids Page' to find out what
    Ancient Egyptians thought of the brain.
    Hint: narrow your search by typing ' brain and ancient egypt".

  6. What does the respiratory system do? Using the the diagram and reading the paragraphs give
    some details about the alveoli?
