Guidelines For School Web Pages
Content Responsibility
The school principal is responsible for content on site web pages, including the school, department, and teacher pages. A School Web Page Permission Form signed by the principal will be kept on file. All subsequent updates must be reviewed by the principal.
Style Guide
Material on the web page should be current. Check links frequently to make sure they continue to work.
The date of the last update to the page should be clearly identified for page viewers.
Avoid "Under Construction" notices on a home page. If necessary, please do not keep them on a page longer than four weeks.
Large images should be avoided.
Sources of images should be identified under the photo or somewhere on the site.
Pages should be checked for spelling and proofread before they are displayed.
Each page should have a Page Title for bookmarking that identifies it clearly.
File names should be kept clear so that URLs are simple.
