Mr. and Mrs. Rich Bucks are sponsoring a fundraiser for charity in their hometown of Milford, Connecticut. They have invited 30 of the most prominent Milford citizens to their home to partake in this fundraiser at $1000 a plate. The Rich Bucks will finance the cost of the dinner so that all proceeds will go to the charity of their choice. They have invited the catering companies of Milford to present to them a creative, attractive, and tasty menu. The caterer chosen will have a fine opportunity to be introduced to the wealthiest of MilfordŐs citizens. All caterers have responded positively and have begun working in secrecy with their partners. The Rich Bucks have assured them that they will pay for all of the food and non-alcoholic beverages. The catering companies will have to present a themed menu. This menu could be celebrating a special holiday or an ethnic culture. It should include an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert with a special non-alcoholic hot beverage to accompany this dessert. Remember you will be serving 30 hungry guests who have shelled out $1000 a head. It better be good or your business will be going under! The catering companies will also have to present to the Bucks one completed item from their menu for them to taste, a complete printout of each recipeŐs ingredients including the conversions, and an oral presentation with theme. Each company should be as creative as possible with their presentation. Remember, your entire success in Milford could depend on this job.It would be a good idea to be as accurate as possible in converting each recipeŐs ingredients to serve 30 of MilfordŐs finest. The BuckŐs are very picky people and will not tolerate any errors, so be extremely careful and precise in following their criteria.Go to Instructions.Picture of couple © 1999-2002 www.barrysclipart.com Picture of dollar signs © 1999-2002 www.barrysclipart.com Picture of cornucopia © 1999-2002 www.barrysclipart.com October 22, 2002 |
