VOICES OF PROTEST GAZETTE

You are going to become a news reporter for the Voices of Protest Gazette over the next few days so put on your thinking caps and ́strain the brainî!  You will write the lead articles on the front-page of the Voices of Protest Gazette.  You will base your news articles on a woman, event or organization that I will assign to you.  Your newspaper articles must include the following about your assigned woman/women:
 


You will find the historical support that you need from the webquest titled Can we find the "Ms" in U.S. History ? The webquest URL is http://www.gnbvoc.mec.edu/webquest/  Once you open this webquest, scroll down and click on Exploration, Colonial & Revolutionary Period.  Once this page opens you will be able to begin your research as a news reporter.  I have also listed a few additional sites below.

After you collect your research, you can use the computer program Microsoft Publisher to design your layout and write your articles.  Feel free to ask questions as we go along!
