Task : Your
task while completing this WebQuest will be to explore the information
available about a very significant Supreme Court decision. You and
your partner are a pair of reporters, who have decided to construct a newsletter
which monitors the actions of the Supreme Court. You and your partner will
take information obtained through a variety of web sites and arrange this
knowledge in order to construct a "SUPREME COURT NEWSLETTER" in which you
describe the case, it's (1) background, the (2) basis of the argument before
The Court, (3)The Court's decision, and a (4)brief biography of the Chief
Justice presiding over The Court at that point in time. After you
have completed your summary of the case, you are to offer an (5) editorial
which describes your feelings concerning the outcome of the case.
To begin this WebQuest just scroll down and follow the directions.
Good Luck, have fun, and discover the power and importance of the Supreme
Court.
