Sharing
is a time when the children can talk about something they enjoy, have experienced,
received as a special gift or something that accompanies what we
are studying. There will be no formal schedule. We do not want sharing
to be a time for children to compete by bringing in their biggest and most
expensive toy. If your child would like to share, please encourage
them to find something such as pictures, postcards or stories that follow
along with our units of study. Sharing may also include special happenings
from home. Try to avoid toys unless they have been received as a
special gift and your child can tell us something about it, not simply
"This is my doll." Please remember that this sharing time is used
to develop language skills.
