| What time does school start
and end?
The Harborside Middle School day starts at 8:00 am. If your child gets to the school anytime after that, he/she will be marked as tardy. If your child is tardy, you need to write a note and the secretary in the office will give him/her a note to get into class. School ends at 2:30 p.m. |
| What do you do if you child
is absent?
Please call the school to let us know if your child is or will be absent. When your son/daughter returns to school, you must send in a note explaining the absence. It is necessary for parents or guardians to notify the school by writing a note if your son/daughter has been absent. |

PTA meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center. |

Volunteers are always welcome at Harborside. You may contact the PTA for a list of all upcoming events where volunteers are needed. If you are interested in volunteering in the Media Center, contact Mrs. Doyle directly at 783-3592 or send an email from the Media Center's Web page. |
