I, Dr. Beryllium, will assign you a specific location for your research, by longitude and latitude. You must find your location on the globe, and then answer the following questions:

.Specifically, what is the name of your body of water?

.In what ocean is it?

.By what currents is it affected?

.How is it affected by those currents?

.Name at least five organisms that live there.

.Explain at least three ways that each organism is specially suited to live in its environment.

.What challenges do these organisms face in their environment?

.What is the standard temperature range?

.How much light is there? Does it vary?

.What are the two most important environmental concerns?

.What are people doing to help fix the environmental concerns?

.When you have finished gathering the above data, you must determine how your area of the ocean would be affected by a gradual 25% decrease in sunlight. Take into account all of the information that you have already collected. Answer as specifically and completely as you can.

In two weeks, you will each present your findings to the class. Together, you will create an Official Report to advise the Martian Ambassador regarding the Space Station. Remember, the fate of the World is in your hands!!
